Miss Shanghai" is a series of sculptural ceramic wine bottles depicting a fashionable young woman from the 1920s, dressed in a Shanghai Qipao (modernized Mandarin gown), holding a folding fan, and sitting with a calm and elegant demeanor.

The inspiration came from the charming era of 1930s Shanghai, a flourishing modern city in East Asia celebrated for its fashion, architecture, and vibrant nightlife. While most photographs from that time were in black and white, filmmakers have vividly brought its splendor to life in color, as seen in Wong Kar-Wai's In the Mood for Love.

The bottles are filled with classic Shanghai rice wine, and the colors and patterns of the Qipao vary, with new designs planned for future updates. This series was originally created as part of a cultural collaboration between the Oriental Pearl Tower and the luxury fashion house Shanghai Tang. Each bottle is exclusively produced in limited quantities in Jingdezhen, a town renowned for its porcelain craftsmanship with a history spanning over 1,700 years.
