Dalitek Smart Panels
Established in 1995, DALITEK introduced the concept of smart lighting control to the Chinese market and has been expanding its reach ever since. Over the years, however, inconsistent design practices led to a fragmented product collection. My role was to revitalize the brand’s aesthetic by developing a cohesive design language that could unify DALITEK’s product families, providing a timeless framework to guide future design and development.

The "Eclipse" concept, targeted at luxury hotels and homes, showcases a distinctive design centered around a polished metallic ring that serves as a control knob for adjusting the thermostat, dimmable lighting, and motorized curtains. This ring, larger than the panel itself, extends beyond the rectangular frame, creating a visually striking gap and adding depth to the design. The result is an elegant and minimalistic product with refined details and the potential to set a new standard for stylish, high-end smart controls.
The project began with the design of a master smart panel, integrating a control knob, push-button switches, a speaker, and a digital display. This design boldly reimagines the conventional style, creating an eye-catching statement on the wall rather than a device that fades into the background. Through extensive exploration of forms, materials, and textures, we crafted a product that pushes the boundaries of traditional aesthetics.
