The previous packaging featured a design shaped like the number "1" to highlight the ultra-slim bristle tip, measuring 0.01 millimeters or less. However, the use of a serif font for the "1" gave the packaging a dated appearance, which failed to resonate with younger audiences.

The task involves two potential approaches: either refining the existing design to retain the distinctive 'Number 1' shape while modernizing its appeal, or creating an entirely new design that prioritizes overall aesthetics and visually highlights the bristle's unique ultra-slim features.

Multiple rounds of concept designs were developed to explore various construction methods and visual styles, ensuring a comprehensive approach to achieving both functionality and aesthetic appeal.

The design process has narrowed down to two final contenders, each vying for selection in the final stage. Additionally, a multi-unit packaging option was developed for each design.
